This is our favorite distributor for any single center mount carburetor or our Holley Sniper EFI kits! This has the best of both worlds!
Centrifugal Advance: For performance. Wide open throttle eliminates vacuum signal so the centrifugal advance is there to put the ignition timing where you normally would with a centrifugal only distributor
Vacuum Advance: For drivability and economy! Vacuum advance with a ported vacuum signal causes the ignition to advance as soon as you crack the throttle. This makes an engine very responsive for driving around town, and the addition of vacuum advance on top of centrifugal while on the highway or at light cruise increases gas mileage and cooler running! But when given full throttle the vacuum signal goes away and you are running on only centrifugal ignition advance!
