EMPI has taken the guess work out of matching a camshaft, lifters and cam gear with the all new EMPI Deluxe Cam Kit. Designed to work together for maximum performance and longevity, these critical components will make your next build or re-build flawless.
Every EMPI Deluxe Camshaft Kit includes the following matched components:
(1) EMPI GT Series camshaft produced from all new chilled cast iron billets. EMPI GT Series camshafts are available in (7) different specs for a broad range of engine performance from mild street to race. All GT Series Camshafts are Parkerized for trouble-free break-in and stroker clearanced right out of the box for maximum value. New Grade 8 hardware, timing card and assembly lube included.
(8) ALL-NEW EMPI Phosphate Treated Lifters constructed from lightweight Heat Treated 4130 Chromoly Steel. This all-new EMPI design features a 28mm convex lifter face designed for the specific lobe taper of EMPI GT and GT-V series camshafts. The specialty phosphate coating encourages oil “soak-up” and additional lubricating properties on the lifter face for improved wear characteristics while delivering trouble free run-in.
