Polished Aluminum Link Pin beam is lightweight and attractive for all Sand Buggy applications. Available with or without shock towers. (Not for Sedans or Heavier Buggies). To use a stock steering damper, use EMPI’s new Billet Aluminum Steering Damper Mount. Urethane bushings: For 16-2045 use 16-5139 listed below!
ACPW Note: Not recommended for street cars! We ran an aluminum beam years ago in our old drag bug and it didn’t take long for the beam to start to ‘twist’ forward creating negative caster which made stability, especially at speed, horrible and just plain dangerous. Sand cars with wider mounting out closer to the edges (plus being a MUCH lighter vehicle) doesn’t have these issues. If you install into a street car or buggy, measure the shock tower caster angle regularly to watch for the beam to twist!
