Cast aluminum oil sump is only 1 ¾” deep. Adds oil capacity and offers improved filtration and easy bolt-on installation. Filter design allows for unimpeded oil flow even if the filter gets plugged. Stainless Steel Micron Filter can be cleaned and reused. 1 Qt. Capacity. Now tapped and supplied with magnetic drain plug. Includes all necessary hardware.

These sumps are great for Type 3’s or 68-71 Type 2’s with moustache bars that make installing a filter normally difficult. The filter element is cleanable (ultra-sonic recommended) and has a bypass for when the oil is cold so you don’t starve the engine for oil! Full flow, or a filter/pump is better, but this is a great option for those that need it and the ground clearance is awesome!
